LAST CHANCE February ROTM- ADMINS choice

Is it too late to get in on the action?
This is my car, a 1996 Camaro Z28. This is what it looked like when I bought it in May 2009:
And now:
This car has really been about three things for me: learning, perseverance, and redemption. You see, when I was in high school, I had a '95 Camaro with a V6, and I loved that car to death. I loved it so much, I flipped it over going 80mph on the way to school a week before I graduated high school. I should have been killed, but I instead got away with only a handful of stitches. The car, however, was completely destroyed...and so was my confidence as a person (due to the crash and a few other circumstances that followed). A year later, I was finally pulling apart the remains of the old "crash car" as we came to call it, and we came across this thing. I didn't think I was ready for another Camaro yet, but this one looked exactly like the one I had wrecked, so as corny as it sounds, I knew it was meant to be. In the nearly 4 years since, this car has taught me so many things--not just about Camaros, but also about having a project car (and the joys and pains that come with it), and about myself. Building this car has been symbolic of rebuilding myself and growing since the worst summer of my life. There have been a few headaches along the way, but I don't regret it for an instant. To get the full story on all the work I've done on this car, there's a link to my project thread in my signature. I've been in the running for ROTM only once before. It would be an honor to be named the winner this month.

It's probably worth mentioning also that there's a lot of the "crash car" that's gone into my Z28. The seats, carpet, tan interior plastics, and rear bumper, to name a few. It was a lot of work to get the blood, dirt, and broken glass out of the seats and carpet lol
