Well NSRA was a flop. Not even 50% of last years attendance. But with the lack of quantity there were many very high quality cars. Taboo came home a winner though, winning one if two Outstanding Use of Color selected by PPG reps! CJ will be reciving a customized plaque and jacket from PPG!

I heard the attendance was only about 1/4 of last year. 1600 last year, and something around 400 this year. There's a reason that most car clubs don't put on a car show over this holiday weekend!
I heard many people couldn't find RV or motel rooms, so cancelled their plans. I also think last year being the first NSRA event, it most likely had larger attendance than they'll ever get again. But the holiday, and lack of accommodations hurt them the worst. From what I hear they didn't learn from it, and are planning the same weekend next year!
Tell CJ congratulations on the well deserved award!

Took the car to the Concours d'Elegance out in Forest Grove on Sunday.

Car took Best Custom and also (and very surprising) Peoples Choice!

Here is the car waiting line to cross the winners block

This weekend we will be hauling the car up to the Goodguys in Puyallup. putting it in the indoor part. Im following up in the 33 ford pickup so we can still cruise around in a rod.

well next show for Taboo and the final before the Grand National will be the Beaverton Elks show on Aug. 30th. This was Rons favorite show and the one he never missed even in his bad health. So going to take it there in his honor.
