The 56 now has a running motor! had a heck of time getting it to fire. Originally had no fire so swapped the coil, didn't work, put in a new resistor, didn't work, finally replaced the entire distributer since its easier that trying to swap parts in the car.

But finally got it running and here it is running

Sounds great! I don't remember, but did you guys go through it, or just swap the intake and carbs?

we pulled the pan to check the bearings and everything was good. my grandpa rebuilt the motor for the previous owner Ron to put the gear drive, cam and dual fours on it. and probably only has 1000 miles since that rebuild.

Grandpa has been working on getting all the panels for the trunk all cut and fitted so they can be covered and installed.

upholstery has been slow during the holidays no big surprise there. the upholster came by Monday and took the wood panels for the truck to cover them. got the front seats all put together with the side covers. hope to start getting the display parts started this week so they can be done by the end of the month. im starting to get the judges book together and figuring out all whats going on the signs for the display.
