VVT allows the lift, duration, or timing (in various combinations) of the intake and/or exhaust valves to be changed while the engine is in operation.

Its VTEC baby

Every company that has it calls it something different, honda is vtec toyota has vvt-i Nissan is vvel bmw has Valvetronic... those are the only ones i know off the top of my head.

GM had Intake Valve Lift Control (IVLC) that was on the Ecotec engines....but that's only half of what every one else had. Haha

GM has caught up with Honda and V-Tec and Ford did it with the Coyote as well

LT1..........where's the optispark?

Gotta be a critic!
The 70-72 LT-1 didn't have an optispark either.
Or maybe it should be, the 92-97 LT1 didn't have a rear distributor?
