1969 Camaro Needs Work
Hello everyone. I am new here, and wanted to ask for some input. I just bought a 1969 Camaro, LT1 350, tunnel ram, 488 posi rear end, automatic. I want to gear it down to 355 possibly, remove the tunnel ram, and install a stock exhaust system instead of straight piped headers.
Has anyone gone through any of these UN-modifications, and if yes, what kind of advice can you give?
Thanks, and any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to Camaro Forums. Are you looking for some do it/don't do it advice. Or are you looking for specific advice about which intake, carb, exhaust, gear, oil, gas and peanut butter is best/most perferred?
Your gearing is radical for a street car, unless you're just driving it around the block once in a while. 3.55 is a pretty good all around, city/highway gear.
