4. Please take a look @ my pics and see if on the pic of my door tag tells tis is a RS?
I have the Y87 (3800 V6 Performance Package: Auburn or Zexel Torsen Limited Slip Differential (G80) 3.42 gears Auto/3.23 gears Standard
14.4:1 Sport Steering (same as Z28) P235/55R-16 tires (required with RPO Y87)
16" aluminum wheels that enhance appearance (required with RPO Y87)
dual muffler outlets. Y3F (which was the 'sports apearance package' and had all the stuff an RS would have had, only no badges) B84 (Ornimentation, Exterior molding) CC1 (T-tops)

3. I have to take the door panel off to fix the drivers side window because the window is off track an kicks out when I rolled it up. I guess with it being a 99 should I get the new window motors? Have you replaced them...is it easy and are there any time saving tips that I could use? Also the pass side power lock switch has broken away from the door an is down in the door? Guess some Gorilla glue would work for that?

2. My fuel gauge is telling me there's no fuel in the car, but it said a full tank when I out the new battery in? I added three gallons of premium too an still nothing? All the gauges are working so what could this be caused from?

Ok fellas. I've posted the pics I have, and now the questions.

1. I need to replace the engine with a stock 3.8 V6. Just looking for the most cost effective way to do this. I have found several engines, but the one I'm leaning toward is a 02 Camaro W/90K on it for $450.00, but it's 2 & a half hrs away. So, with that said....what do I need besides the new 02 headers, and to reseal the intake. I've read in posts I need to do that because of it being a notorious prob.

I found a whole 96 base for $400.00 headed to the junk yard this Friday, but guys @ the salvage yards say the 96 3.8 won't work? Guess it's the intake that's been changed? So, would this 96 work an these guys not knowing it just killed the best deal I found? I can still get the 96 complete car till Friday though, so I hope someone looks @ this list of questions before then!
