Un-Straight Pipe..Exhaust Help
Bought this car recently...it is straight piped and I am looking to undo that. I wasn't sure what route to go as I'm new to the gas performance scene. I smell the car running a little rich and have heard the o2 sensors may have something to do with that. I want an exhaust that is quiet at at lower speeds and to scream when I step on it. Also looking for advice on tuning. Thanks in advance!

Car is straight piped as in..no cats or muffler...heck not even tips just ends at the 90* bend toward the drivers side where a muffler is supposed to attach.
If I misinterpreted that sorry. I am looking for something that isn't obnoxiously loud like it is now haha...so yes I suppose I want a muffler. I just don't know where to start...cause on a diesel exhaust is exhaust...not H pipes, Y pipes, o2 sensors and all this other craziness...I'm a little overwhelmed lol plus I know no good performance shops other than Jegs and Summit and I know specifics aren't their specialty

Out of state registration. I am in the military and my home state does not require it so I keep it registered there. The previous owner is also military and does the same thing. None of my vehicles will ever be registered in CA if I have a choice

best easiest was would be a cat back,,, well where cat was back. lol. theres magnaflow, flowmaster, borla, corsa. borla is adjustable. i like my corsa, no camaro's around here that sound as nice, im sure headers help.

I love my gmmg chambered. It's fairly quite idleing and cruising but get into the rpms and it comes alive. But I'm also running stock manifolds and cats right now. Just ordered long tubes and a catted ypipe

Nice. Any suggestions for headers? I'm considering them but wanted to put it together right the first time. Was kind of undecided on headers yet...priority is the exhaust. The car came with a Flowmaster muffler of some sort and tips...basically from where the muffler would hook to the exhaust pipe back but the wrong style connection...if that makes sense. The exhaust pipe on the car is flanged and the inlet to the muffler is not. I can put up pictures if it helps...can I buy just the tubing that is vehicle specific?
