Trying to find the oil pressure senor 1994 Lt1

thats not the oil pressure sending unit. im not sure what that is, maybe a cutoff switch for if pressure goes to 0. the sending unit you want is at the back of the intake manifold. yah bummer. its a pita to get to. your pressure sending unit is like this http://www.carparts.com/details/Stan...Dn5hoCMnPw_wcB this should be the plugin LS1 LT1 Oil Pressure Sender Wiring Connector Pigtail Camaro Firebird | eBay

well if you dont have a sending unit at the back of the intake then someone put the wrong unit in and cut the plugin off. some 94s have the sending unit in the same place as the 93. you may be one of them

What he has now is a oil pressure switch. It however is not the right one. You would find that on a 80s or earlier style engine.
If the car is a '94, then you need to go to parts store and get a S4087P, that is for the one behind the intake. The one above the oil filter will be a S4077. Depending on who you go through, you may have to have the numbers crossed, those are Advance/Carquest numbers. But before buying, I would dig around the back of the intake and see if you can find the plug.
I'm gonna say someone didn't a) know what they were doing b) didn't want to pay the price for the right part and jerry rigged it.

early 94s had the 93 style setup above the oil filter. if he does not have the double jointed fitting behind the intake but a old plug in the block back there that looks like its always been there,,, then i would say its 93 style. also i am wondering if his wiring harness has the wire coming out down by the oil filter... it looks that way.

There is no sensor on the back of the intake area... I took pics with camera and there is nothing below the EGR.. There is a plug in the block but no sensor.
The wire I have is tan and that is what the FSM says the color is of the oil sensor.
I know that loop connector is not stock and was put in later.. The sensor in there looks like a cooling sensor.
I am going to get the right part and go to junk yard and get the right connector since that sensor was used on a bunch of chevys..
I finally got the car to run.. seems the vats was not sending the 50hz signal..
I fixed that with a signal generator and now she runs great..

Can someone take a pic of the side of their throttle at the TBI?
I was out having some fun and when i put the petal to the floor the dang thing jammed open..
It looks like the throttle stop on the side was not put on right or it bent.
I was cutting doughnuts in back yard for a few seconds... Glad the dogs thought better of getting near the car.... had to turn key to shut it down,....
Car has a solid posi rear... spinning both tires....
