cracked part in rear?

Default cracked part in rear?

WHen i changed out my rear diff fluid i noticed this. I found no chips, just tiny metal shavings on magnet on cover. 15k on the rear. No issues ever,, What is this part and should i be worried?

Right claw thing, under top spring. On the first pic, its on the left (took it upside down)

That can't be good and really should be repaired.

haha, so lets think, how often do we really take off the rear dif covers? scrapping that gasket off sucks guys. If you look at pic 1, on he left clap thingy, there is a crack in it. DIrectly above the spring on pic 1. On picture 2 and 3, look below top yellow spring, the crack is on the right clap thing.

it only shows as a unit in the parts book so i dont think its sold new. better start lookin at the wrecking yards for one you can get parts from.
