parking brake- are you sure it's completely disengaged? clutch in, on a small incline, does the vehicle roll freely?
coolant sensor- Until i disabled mine, of all the Z's I looked at in October and November, in all seriousness, I never saw one that didn't have the coolant light lit.

coolant sensor, mine is unplugged and the pins on the cable are shorted together. No more silly little light and the sensor is on the radiator; passenger side below the hose that is supposed to go to the throttle body if you haven't done the bypass.
$3700 seems a bit high but what's done is done.
Do you have enough brake fluid in the reservoir? If it's working, and the brakes work fine, I wouldn't even worry until it gets warmer so it's comfortable to inspect it unless of course you live in FLA like some of us.
Oh, you really need a horn. Other than than the 2nd digit from your thumb it's the most important signal device you have.

For your coolant light, get the part number (10096163), go to www.gmpartsdirect.com and it's $35 bucks. Fairly easy to replace.
For your brake light, that light is not only for the emergency brake. It will also indicate burnt out indicator lights. I would say check your third brake light, that was the only light that would set my brake light on. But check them all and make sure they are all working. If all your lights are working, then check the switch for the E-brake, just take the console out and the switch is right there at the bottom of the E-brake handle, it's a contact type switch, so it could be that you need to bend the contact tab so it's contacting the E-brake when not set.
