Default Can you burn music onto blank DVD+RW disks?

I ran out of blank CDs and want to burn more but im trying to save my money and dont feel like spending ANY on new cds but i found some blank DVD+RW disks can i burn the music on to those and play them in my CD player?

haha doubt it... mayb if you put them in mp3 format.. does ur stereo read mp3?

A CD player cannot read DVD's, it has to do with how precise the laser is etc. So the CD player will not even be able to recognize the DVD as a disk. You can burn music to a DVD and play it through your DVD player though.

yeah, idk i could install one of them fancy dvd wastes of space but that seems like alot of trouble for a few songs i can listen to while im spending hours here..
