Hello,

I have a 96 camaro V6 and lately have been having trouble with it. Upon ignition the rpm's go up to 2 or 3 and stay that way. When I put it in gear, the car jumps forward. Does anyone have any idea why the car is doing this???I would appreciate any help so I can try to fix the problem myself, if possible.

 

Has there been any work done on it recently?

 

The only thing I just replace on it was the ECM.

 

did you get a proper tune for it when you replace the ECM?

 

[&:] did this condition start immediately after the ecm replacement??? why was the ecm replaced?? where did you get the ecm?? do we have any codes?? kurt
