Unhappy 2000 Camaro won't start.

Hi everyone. I'm new to the site and I'm a female that doesn't know much about cars. I have a 2000 Camaro, base model, that won't start. I went to get into my car this morning and it just cranks. I guess that's the sound it makes. It makes a sound like it is trying to start but not getting enough power. My headlights and interior lights work, but my CD player isn't coming on. I want to get it running enough so I can take it to Auto Zone to get it scanned. Once before I had it scanned and they told me I needed a new crank shaft sensor, but I never got it replaced. Silly me.
Thanks everyone.

Any updates? cd player has to do with the ignition or fuse, maybe your fuel pump is gone and thats why she's not firing?

I have a 1994 camaro Z28 and it stall. It has to sit for awhile before it restarts. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel telay, spark splugs, wires, coil and distribitor.

If you have to let it cool down before starting it again it is a timing problem, get a timing light they are handy toys.
