2) I don't know why in this world you would do a TPI to Carb conversion. A injection system is a lot easier, all you gotta do is get a good tune

If so yes you need a fuel pressure regulator. TPI has higher pressure than Carburetor. Or else the pressure will blow the carb out
Unless you have numerous internal modifications I don't really think you will see any difference
