Question Interest in carbon fiber parts?

A good friend of mine owns a carbon fiber (Real carbon fiber) business (G3 Composites LLC). He & I have been friends for over 10 years (In real life).

We're both enthusiasts as well, of course. He actually ownes a 5th Gen Camaro & has his own parts on it as senn in some of the photos. All supplies are sourced from the USA & all work is done in the USA (He is based in FL)

I am posting to gauge interest on what folks may want.

I'd be happy to become a vendor if there was enough interest.

I just sent him several pieces from my Corvette that I should have soon. Can't wait to get them back.

Here is a link to some of the work he has done:

Thanks,
Tom

I know that you're advertising carbon fiber products, but in that photobucket I saw that there were some plastic center consoles etc. Is there a way he could make a plastic one for my 96 z28 6 speed manual?

He has wrapped (in real carbon) many center consoles so I assume that is what you mean or maybe you meant the molds he made?

If you're doing it for looks, the way to go for your console would be to wrap it.

Added some (real) carbon fiber to my personal car courtesy of my friend. Carbon fiber center console, gauge bezel pods, rear hatch handle, climate control *****, passenger ac vent bezel, shifter trim, door lock bezels & door sills.

Feel free to reach out to me if you need some carbon work.

Now for the pictures!

Carbon fiber sometimes looks nice, and those parts looks real fine but I myself had carbon fiber 8 years ago in my camaro which I just sold. After looking at carbon fiber for 8 years I'm pretty sick of looking at it and probably wont be buying anymore. Rich people will probably always want it just because money means nothing to them, but I look at the pictures and think that's nice but I dont have a desire to own it. It's starting to somewhat go out of style. Partly since manufactures are finally making really nice interiors now, they dont really need the dress up.

It hard to incopoate Carbon fiber in the new camaro interior. I think most of your market is going to still be in imports to dress up those hideous cheapass looking mazda, mitubisi & kia interiors.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. It looks pretty good in his personal car (5th gen Camaro) & the many satisfied 5th clients on the 5th gen forum. Different strokes for different folks. I'm enjoying it in my C6 Corvette too & we're not rich. FWIW, I loved my previous Mazdaspeed6 & it didn't have any carbon

Take a look at the Audi R8 we recently finished. This car will be featured in Rides magazine soon as well.
