Yes. I put the brackets on the ballasts, then bolted the brackets to the pieces where the hood rests. Brackets are pretty stiff, so they aren't just swinging around.

well, my car is all stock under the hood, so ill have to find a different way to run the driver's side wire since i dont have that vacant air duct spot like you do.

yeah they are sealed beams, but eurolights.com sells H4701 and H4703 kits for 98-02 birds as well. however, if you have a 97 or older (H4666) they dont have anything for that yet.

just installed my HIDs. ordered a lowbeam conversion kit from eurolights.com on the 4th, and got them saturday, and went right to work installing them. turns out, there were no ballasts needed, and no wiring at all. it ended up being just like changinga halogen bulb. now the car looks so awesome. only problems i ran into were the usual camaro headlight changing problems (getting the tabs on the side of the frame into the slots, etc.) the bulbs on the new housings are held in place by gold tabs, i ended up having to bend those slightly with tweezers to give myself more room to wigglethe housingaround and not havethe pinstouch the side of the mounting area when i was pushing the back through the hole after plugging the wire in. also had to mess with the aiming screws a little bit to help with fitting the frame back on on both sides, but other than that, the installation is cake, and the lights are so awesome.

Not trying to knock on your lights, but so everyone doesn't get confused: True HID kits come with a ballast for each bulb. If the bulb has a filament in it, it is not HID. True HID is just a bulb with gas inside. As the gas heats up, it becomes less resistant, and gets brighter and brighter til it no workie anymore. The ballast regulates the current and voltage, so the light doesn't kill itself. The gas in "Xenon charged" bulbs is supposed to help them last longer from what I understand.

ohh ok. well still the eurolights are pretty darned good if you want HID looks without being able to tell that they aren't actually HID.
