hey everybody I'm new to this site, but not the shop or a diirty wrench for that matter :Danyway I'm doing a energy suspension polyurethane front end rebuild on my 94 f body camaro and i cannot get the rear bolt of the lower control arm to come out so i can complete this job it seems as though the bolt may have gotten rusted into the old bushing sleeve, i've tried heating it with acetylene, beating on it with brass, and using the cars own weight to try and break the thing free, all to no prevail. im wondering if i should cut it out, do you guys have any suggestions on how to get it out and where to buy a new sleeve and bolt if i must resort to cutting thanks alot, i appreciate the replies !

You can always get a new bolt and sleeve from a Chevy dealer. How you are going to take it out is another story. Have you trie to remove the nut on the inside of the bolt? Put enough pressure on it and it will either turn or break the bolt.

The way we do it is to drown it in penetrating oil and then tighten the bolt as much as it will go. It'll move the bolt inward and compress the sleeve to loosen it. Don't hit the bolt too hard because you can move the K member. Once you get the bolt to move in the sleeve, you can back the nut off and then use a 5 lb hammer with a little heat.
