First thing i got to ask about is a creaking sound coming from my front right brake; not sure exactly what it is; has anyone ever heard anything like that before? It doesnt happen constantly as i hit the brake, but it sounds more like at one specific spot on the rotor each time the wheel turns (as the car slows down, the sound slows down and becomes more spaced out too..)I got the rotors turned about two months ago and put it all back on to take care of a lurching motion the car was doing when i hit the brakes before, and the lurching motion is happening at the same type time intervals this creaking sound is. the kicker is that it doesnt make the noise in reverse, i'm guessing thats because the brakes have some sort of different tension when in reverse? i dont know that much about them...I've had a few people look at it and listen and they all seem to believe its something to do with the caliper sticking so has anyone else had to same problem with the same verdict? and if i do end up needing to replace the caliper is it fine to use one from a v8 camaro? mine is a 2000 v6....

alsooo...how would you be able to tell if you need new shocks/struts because i'll probably get it lowered later on when i have a better budget and those need to be replaced; and does anyone recommend a specific brand of springs? thanks

The brake problem sounds like a warped disc.

As for suspension...Everyone will have there own opinion on this but I have KYB AGX adjustable shocks with Eibach Sportline Springs.

i dont know what the brake problem was but i took them apart and put them back together again and it all worked fine but anyway about the springs and shocks; is it alright to use v8 springs on a v6? i know they support more weight because of the different size engine but is there any other difference besides that?

The car will ride higher.

It's better to go from a car with a smaller engine with springs for that car to springs from a bigger car. It would be riding higher, it would also give you a higher spring rate for better cornering. But you do throw off the factor suspension geometry. In most cases, if you don't get the whole front end "adapted" to it you'll ruin your ball joints and tie rods in a jiffy.
