Lower springs won't help to put power to the ground, probably give you less bite because of less weight transfer. Get better LCAs, subframe connectors, subframe connectors, stronger torque arm. You want to make the body stiffer not the springs.

Suspension lowering will help you corner better by lowering the center of gravity. If you do lower it though, you will need to get some sort of apparatus to correct the camber. Also a bigger sway bar will help you rip through the corners faster too. I'd upgrade your bushings with Polyeurothane or Polygraphite. It will be stiffer with less front end deflection.

Chasis = Subframe connectors, wonderbar, lower control arms, adjustable panhard rod and poly bushes all round.
(May be inner tie rod ends)
Suspension = Can't go far wrong with KYB AGX Adjustable shocks and Eibach springs.
