hello everyone, my name is Will, i am from east tennessee, and i have a 2000 camaro 6 cyl. i really miss it tho, yesterday i had to take it into the shop for 24 days of repairs, i wrecked it in New Mexico when a semi ran me off the road. when i get it back i plan on doing alot of upgrades. but i really dont know what will be the best upgrades for it, i know i am going to rake the cats and put dual flos on it, i am really uncertain on what intake to put on it, i have been doing alot of reading and realize that people have been having alot of trouble finding a good intake for it. Any ideas? i am also planning on taking the factory chip out and putting a performance chip in it, and again i am uncertain what kind to put in, the other up grade that is on top of my head is putting some new wheels on it, i am looking at the Z06 wheels or some real simular. Anyways I would really appreciate any comments, input or opinions anyone has.

Well, Will AEM makes a damn good intake and edelbrock has very good cams and headers. Also are you talking about engine or show.</P>

i am alot more concerned about performance, exterior looks are great but to me it doesn't amount to anything if i cant burn all ricers i come across

Have you thought of the little things? Port polish perhaps, or . . . . I assume this is a manual? (will continue after this is answered)

as far as i'm concerned, putting duals on a V6 (which is what I have now that i totalled my SS) just doesn't sound right. i tried it with this one and after changing out & upgradingEVERYTHING-intake, headers, cam, chip, etc-in it, the exhaust still sounds like a ricer. it just doesn't sound good on a V6. if you can figure out a way to do it without making it sound like an asiandrives it, let me know and i'll be the first to try it!! but as for right now, i'm left with acamaro that's pretty damn fast and looks greatbut still sounds like a pissed off weed eater!

As far as you getting new wheels you might try tirerack.com. That's where I found the wheels for my 1994 camaro. They have a big variety of wheels and you can look at em on your car before you actually buy em.
