how many lbs will my stock v6 hold from a turbo and is it a good idea?

Well what year is your camaro? If it's 93-95 It's a 3.4. If it's 96-02 it's 3.8 anything earlier than that is either the 2.8 or 3.1.
Either way, there's not really anywhere to buy a turbo kit for your car. It would have to be custom made. Not impossible just expensive. check out Tiago's turbo'ed 3.4 firebird at this link. I'd run 7 lbs at the most with stock internals.

You'll need a 1:1 boost refrence fuel pressure regulator and at least 27ft/lbs injectors and an ECU professional reflash.
