I've seen this before. I can't remember the exact details so don't quote me on this, But some aftermarket company made a handful of these using the GTO platform. it's not really a chevelle concept. I wish chevy would have turned the 03' SS concept into a chevelle.
I think GM should bring back the Chevelle...

Maybe you guys don't like the way this car looks, but it reminds me of the 71 Chevelle Super Sport. Which was a really hot car in it's time. It's is defintely the 71 Retro.
I like everthing about it.

If GM EVER put this on the floor at the detroit auto show they would need mops to clean up the tears of shame. you know when people try to make their fieros look like a countach? that's what this looks like. i love that people do things like this though -it's hot rodding. but a GM concept, thank god, it ain't.

It would look OK if the roof line was a little more refined. It doesn't match the rest of the car.

Gross.... I must say, not one of GM's brightest ideas in my book. I think it looks Fugly.... They tried to mimic the Concept Camaro and mix Old Body with Newage and it just does not work for the Chevelle...

You know that the headlights and tail lights are from a '70 right? Doesn't really look anything like the '71.

That is not a concept car by any means. its a dumb gto with a bad looking 70 chevelle make over. yuck. gto's are all ready nasty looking but this one just pushes it farther.

I think it would look better with the hood down. The grille is kinda nasty, but with the hood shut, it may make a difference. Overall, it looks like an old Chevelle that's been sandwiched. It may look better in person, but I doubt I'll ever get that opportunity.
I like the new GTO. I think they could have gone a little more aggressive in the styling, but it's still smooth and it's got some balls!!!
