can someone tell me about the difference between a dry shot and a wet shot? which is better for what? i have a 89 iroc, would it be better for a dry or wet shot? thanks

you will want to go with a wet shot. The "wet' shot is typically preferred since the nitrous is injected with additional fuel into the engine whereas a "dry" shot injects nitrous alone. wet systems can be tuned by adjusting the fuel pressure up or down. Dry systems rely on the engine's computer alone which for example if it senses it is running too lean it will pump more fuel but most factory computers were not designed with this in mind so they have difficulty compensating for the nitrous. The wet shot is injected directly into your intake (usually same place as injectors) whereas the Dry is shot through the air intake.

How big of a shot do you want to go with. You can go with a 75 shot dry nitrous safely, but anything over that I'd go wet. You can get the easier wet shot that injects both fuel and nitrous throught the intake tube too. Direct port injection is a lot more expensive and you need to machine your intake manifold a little too.

thanks for the advice. i was actually thinking about going with a 75 shot on my camaro

Me personally, unless your going for Really Big plans. The 75 shot on dry would be the cheapest and easiest bet for ya.
