You need to drop the 3800 v6 in there with a gutted cat and really make that maro move. BADASS maro uggghhhhh. McNasty 01-26-2006, 11:24 AM ... did you really just tell him to drop a v6 in his camaro as opposed to the engine thats already in the Z28!!! omg no... im gonna pretend u didnt... mattvogt 02-03-2006, 06:41 PM thats rediculous if that how you spell it, V6??? Dont listen to that fool. JK, I heard that if you take the skin off of the roof, it would be easy. Dont know about how well it would seal. Not to mention take value off of your car. ( remember those aftermarket sunroofs on 69's) yep same thing, value will be lost and down the road it wont look as nice. Its your car though, make the decision yourself. Or buy a new camaro with t's shnormo 04-11-2006, 03:41 AM Cutting the roof is not recomended, specially with a built up v-8. The roof provides structural support. Therefore require reinforcement. If you take the GM's aka pontiac with the 6.6L 400 block, they had factroy subframe connectors only with t-tops. So if you want to have them custom cut, just remeber you're looking at either subframe connectors or a roll cage meaning more weight. mattvogt 04-12-2006, 06:40 PM great call norm. Since its a unibody it really needs the extra strength especially with a high horsepower engine. |
