I have a 1994 Camaro and I'm getting ready to do an LS1 Swap to get rid of the dinky V6 that's disgracing Chevrolet's breed of Camaros. What I need to know is exactly what has to be done to do the swap successfully w/o any hassel. I already know the ecu and wiring harness has to be changed, but I'll get that with the engine assembly. Will the LS1 bolt up to the V6's 4L60E tranny? Do I have to get a longer or shorter driveshaft? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your best bet will be to find a donor car, or at least the complete drive train from a wrecked Z or T/A. This way you have all the parts you need and can see where they go. Also an ECU from an M6 car will not work with an auto, but an auto ECU can be made to work with an M6.
