When I purchased my 94 Camaro, the salesperson volunteered that the Camaro was very good on bad weather as it had front wheel drive, just like the Corvette sitting next to it. Also stated that the Impaler, referring to a 94 Impala, was also good on bad weather because of front wheel drive. And this was at a Chevy dealer.

ive got a tale that is true. i have a 15.7 *nearly stock" geo tracker that walked an 05 gt (may have been v6, only single exhaust). 4.53 rear gear, 57mph is at 3k in fifth gear, 70 is near 4k. only mods at the time were split fire plugs, modified air box, stock muffler with a hole in it, and no cat. however, the interior was stripped to metal with the exception of my 12" subs, amp, and cb. however, it now has a glass pack, cone filter, and no electronics or center console. if it didnt have a blown clutch, im sure itd be runnin a good 15 flat, if not faster. weighed 2200 with a full tank and with the electronics, im sure its now closer to 2000. the thing is, i raced the same mustang with my tpi and he walked me. i could dump the clutch at 4k on a good, grippy road and it would leave posi's for about 5 feet, and go. im sure if i could try, i might do wheelies in low range!! 4low, first gear, and its at the rev limiter at 6700 and its doing less than 5mph. i plan on puttin a supercharged 3800 from a 5th gen, hoping for around 350hp. thatd be sweet.

Forget about the supercharger, the problem is that you have no cats at all. Put back some gutted cats and yor car will run in the 9's, even with the blown clutch.

Just remember, the cat has to be gutted, don't just replace it with a piece of straight pipe. Also, make sure to put in a turbonatorin addition tothe electric supercharger. The shock wave, asyour cargoes by at 350 MPH, will blow the Bugatti right off the road.

Just remember, the cat has to be gutted, don't just replace it with a piece of straight pipe. Also, make sure to put in a turbonatorin addition tothe electric supercharger. The shock wave, asyour cargoes by at 350 MPH, will blow the Bugatti right off the road.

No, that electric supercharger is no good.. You have to use a blow drier and toiler paper rolls as the piping to go into the engine. Then use a styrofoam cup as a coupler to feed into the throttle body. Trust me, it works. Thats what I do, and I run 12's at half throttle in my V6.

Edit: As for that Bugatti, the Veyron has no chance against this set-up.. And as for that electric supercharger.. I want one for a go cart..

it's best to get the cooked ones from your local korean restaurant. They last a little longer before the nmell,and less flies.

Just remember, the more gutted cats on the car, the faster it goes. It can get really dangerous. Better hang a couple of drag chutes out the back, just in case things get out of control.

hey pete, I might be placing an order soon, if possible. I only have about $2 mill, so go easy on me. I opted not to get the Veyron, because of the pittiful 1001 hp for the 1.whatever million it cost. Instead I think im going to get 4 gutted cats (maybe get a friend to order me 2 more, that way I can have one for each cylinder) and at least 2 but probably 3 roof scoops, and def. a trunk lid scoop.. I also have a special order to make though, if you can do u think I can get a set of wings off a Boeing 747? I really need as many aircraft parts as possible, once I hit around 70000 hp the wind resistance is gonna suck. With all this stuff, do you think I can get over a million horsepower?

You could have offerd / and or limited me before my car took off. I still havent been able to find it,and the faa gave me a fine.

sorry badinfluence, but I already have one of those electric superchargers. Its an inverter I got plugged up to the cigarette lighter with a hair dryer plugged in. It mounts right in front of the throttle body..then I have a ram air kit from a corvette attatched for even more boost. Its pretty sweet. Do you think you can make me some aluminum lug nuts though, I think the ones I have are steel and they weigh way too much. I might be able to love an ounce or two once I get some new ones. My car runs 13's right now, once i get those gutted cats, scoops, lug nuts, and finish tweaking the supercharger some more I think I can get into the high 3's or so. Oh yeah, but thats only if I run it off straight octane booster and brake parts cleaner.

don't even get me started on weight reduction...i have a carbon fiber cigarette lighter that shaved 10lbs of my cars weight...w/ that mod alone I could take an SS no prob

OK So I think I messed something up. The car pictured isn't the same as mine. Inow know howto drain the battery. I also found the grease points for the radio. But no blinker fluid reservoir. Any ideas?
oh I almost forgot, I found a place that sells clear tail light lenses for my 69. It didnt improve my speed AT ALL. So I will be looking for one actually made out of rice, I think it will help.

First step was probably missed as it was not on the page. You have to wear a set of 3-D glasses. For the 69 you will have to find a wrecked ricer and see if the blinker system is still on it. may not be due to the high demand. If you you do find one you'll need some break free (CLP) and some KY (in glove box of ricer) in order to squeeze it into a tight place out of sight. this can only be done on the second or 6th friday of the last month to pass.

I just saw an excelent write up about a civic. The gentleman was genuinely interested in making the fine piece of foreign engeniering work to its fullest potential. Of all the suggestions his highly experiance assiciated offered, I couldnt help but notice one, the sticker concept. Stickers I tell ya. I knew I wasnt crazy.

The secret to uncontrollablepower is to put the sticker on the gutted cat.

Helium in the tires, full aluminum engine; internals and all, starter fluid for fual, (gasoline is too heavy) some light music on the radio; manilo or celine, no windows or heavy useless rubber seals, all bolts will be replaced by aluminum rivets, I am getting a triple decker wing from a honda/mitsubishi/toyota guy I know, I have a compliment of at least 8 stickers from sumitt alone, two cans of spray paint, leatherman/gerber tool, duct tape (100mph tape for the military guys),some twint and a lid of a fire hydrant. All these mods and I should be good. I just need a car to put it all in, my skate board is cracking.

lol.. thanks for the support man.. I think it will work out just fine..I just thought about something though.. if I dont have a cigarette lighter, how will i plug in my inverter and my blow drier? Maybe I could just run it straight to the battery.. 12 volts should do the trick just fine. (who needs outlets anyway?) The only thing about the strobe underglow is that once i hit around 5k rpm, it might just fling off or something.. then, there goes all the horsepower.. I'll just think of it as a safety feature I guess..

Ok, a guy down the street has a 94 Sonoma extended cab (aerodynamic considerations?) that wants to race. He has a primer hood and fenders, the rest is a puke purple (factory sleeper?) I think I can take him. I have a fast car. Should I go for it? Can anyone tell me what my ET'S are? I think his is a stock streight 6, and I have a fast car. Thanks.

Ok, is the hood black,if so don't race it. ......but if the fenders are black then you may have a shot. also look for chunks of rubber on his 1/4 . this may let you know that he's really fast. With the info you gave on your car, fast. I would say ........roughly a heigh 12 to low 13 car. with some good tires and the starting fluid fuel,along with some Outlaw fuel booster you should take him. If the tool box says craftsman,look out he could be sponsored.

Darnit. I was afraid of thet. He not only has 'craftsman' but I can see a faded 'snap-on' aluminum plate that was hastily riveted onto the passanger side of the box. I was thinking of scaring him off by using the extra tires I have for my 73 Super Beetle in front, maybe paint them blacks or that crinkle paint silver. Also I was thinking of putting a C.B. antannea on it like the Bandit has, this might scare him away as well.

The gutted cat has been around a long time. Almost as long as this thread. :DIt started when there were the pellet style cats. Those needed to be gutted! The pellets would melt and form a solid inside the cat. You could refill those style though. No days with these cats its pretty much useless........unless your going out to beat a viper of course

I have been experimenting. I have found some interesting things out. Bananaswork well for back preasure in the tail pipe. ping pong balls fit into the gutted cat well and sound cool. The whole sticker adding HP thing need to be re-evaluated, they give less than first anticipated and duplicates do NOTadd more. Lightly coating the springs (suspention related) also seem to add raw HP, but only if you coat the front ones.Vented breaklines - bad idea, I went through like 2.5 galons of radiatorcrack filler (bars leak) before the lines worked right.
