Hi, I have an 85 trans am and am looking for newer seats, i have read that seats from 83-02 models fit 3rd gen cars, directly bolting on with no modification, is this true and for both camaros and firebirds?

Same info I gave on the Camaro.....

Yeah, i get what you mean now, but i have a power drivers seat, will that make a difference? i just found seats from a 98 camaro that i want to put in.

Same for the power seats. Some 3rd gen car have a wire already there or just run one to the fuse box.

Ok, so i can just rip out all the power ****??

Im still undecided wheather(sp) to keep the seats i have now, or to buy a seat out of a 98 for $200 and get some black and white seat covers.....

Anyone know if the dash from an 88 would fit an 85??
