Do you have a brand preference? If not go with a rockford or alpine amp. The Big advantage to a 4 channel amp is it gives you the ability to fade from the front to the rear and gives you balance (left and right), now if you dont care about fading I would buy a two channel amp simply because you can get more power cheaper.

I do care about fading but I have that option in my head unit. You are right and now I am coonfused maybe 2 chennel is better? Help?
I love Rockford but it is too expansive. I would like to buy something cheaper but close to Rockford performance.
Thanks.

when you look into your amp sometimes you can get a four channel and bridge two channels. If you get a 200 X 4 you might think its 400 x 2 when bridged but look at the specs sometimes it is lower or higher.

I hate to say this but you cant fade front to rear with a two channel amp. Only left to right. I doubt that it matters much though. I prefer the 4 chnl, If your receiver has the RCA's for why not use them?
