so yesterday i was going across town to visit a friend. doing so i have to take the highway. im cruising along at 65 mph, and some little Honda CRX starts riding my ass and pulls up next to me and slows down as if he wants to race. the weather was wonderful and the roads were clear so i thought that i might as well. when he beeps 3 times we both nail it and im at 90 mph in no time and hes probably at 70 or so hahaha. then we go again and then again. (v-tech fluid musta been low) so i pretty much stomp him 3 times in a row.

i get off on the exit i need and he pulls up next to me and says "you have 4 more cylinders than me, thats cheating!!!" so i just gave him a thumbs up.

so all in all he trys to race me... gets destroyed 3 times and im a cheater. I Loves My SS

You did cheat. Not only did you have 4 more cylinders but you had more power and more displacement per cylinder. I think thats funny he calls you a cheater for getting a car that was made for power vs getting a car that was made for grocery getting. That is like if you were to take your car offroad and do it against a truck. Would he be cheating technically???????;)

I think the GTO looks exactly like a Grand Am, or a Monte Carlo, or a Impala, or any other mid-sized GM sedan, so it's my little way of barbing GTO owners. Kinda like calling an SRT a Neon, or a Mustang a Rustang you know??

You got a point, when GTO's first came out I just looked at them as a grand prix with a V8 :p

And also some guy may be trading one in here at the dealership, and I can pick it up for 18K, Its red with the 6.0, and auto, wouldnt mind adding another GM to the collection, oh and also has 20k miles.

I just caught this post and auSStin's post reminded me of a story so gather round boys and girls. Uncle Mike is gonna tell ya a story.:D
My brother was riding his 95 ZX9R and a guy on a built harley pulled up next to him at a red light. The light turns green and he left banging all four gears. My brother said once he heard him hit fourth he said "F This" and took off from the light and past the guy in first gear and beat him to the next light. The harley pulled up next to him and my brother said "I got four more gears, want to go again?" The harley pulled away real slow. :D

Mustangs are still rear wheel drive cars that you can get with a V8...you gotta respect that. And civics are more than a joke. I beat civics with less than full throttle in my truck. It's never been to the strip but i might take it soon to see what it runs with the new exhaust.
