will the rearend out of a 72 nova fit a 81 z28 my son just blew his i have a 12 bolt out of my old nova just wondering if it would fit thanks

Measure drum to drum on both, I would like to think they would swap out being both of these cars also came with the "corporate" c- clipped nightmare on a dragstrip..... it should work.... hope I helped.
