hello everybody new to the forum. I seen some talk about going from a v6 to a 350. What about a 305 to a 350? I have 89 rs will i need to change anything?

Should be an easy swap, the computer will have to be tuned to work with the larger engine.

ok thank you. tune up how do you do that? I found a 350 block with heads that needs to be rebiult for $150.00 dollars. Is this a good deal?

305s are ok, nothing wrong with them

i got a pretty strong running little 307 in my 71', it had a big cam in it when i bought the car. dont know what it has for a cam. But its got about 300hp

The computer is tuned by replacing or updating the MEMCAL module. There are tuners that specialize in rewiting the MEMCAL, you tell them waht you have and want to do, and they will rewrite the MEMCAL. For a fee, of course.

thanks guy's for you input. sorry just now responding back been busy tearing the 305 down and working, decided to stick with the 305 add headers, difrent intake, and a bigger cam.
