There's only two bro....Liteglow and Streetglow.Well those are the only two i would use (and i gotta use a cheap pop to my sponsor Liteglow).As far as color, its up to you.Just be careful if you use red or blue.Some of the law enforcement will give you crap about it saying those colors are for emergency vechiles only.But from what i was told, as long as they are not flashing or strobing you should be fine and dont what ever you do buy Apc crap.

As long as it's parked it's legal... at least in MI. Check local laws. Check ebay for underbody kits.

Go with StreetGlow they are a very good brand and decent prices. I have had many colors on my car purple to white cause I have a black car. You having a white car can choose any color as well but again, be aware of the red and blue thing. You can probably get a full set for around $150 unless they went up since I had some. And they are simple to install yourself just be sure to stay clear of anything pinching the wires.

Maybe it's just here in Minnesota but i have yet to see a Camaro, Mustang, or anyother true muscle car with neons.

WOW, that is funny!!!!! If you want neons get them, who cares what anyone else thinks. a few auto parts stores by me have them, theres's a set that let's you turn a knob for a different color or cycle through all of them. I think a decent set of neons would run about $150.

The only colour I would even remotely consider would be white.

Optix is also another brand that is out there. It is an LED based model so it is a little more durable.

I think neons are gay, but in most states the law is, as long as the bulb is not visible it's legal no matter which color. Please don't do that to a camaro though, it's a disgrace.

My brother use to have lights under his 95' white Camaro. His system went under the steering column, and he could change color,patterns, sequence of display, etc. In CA the rule is that the bulbs can't be exposed, other than that, it's perfectly legal. The local Sheriffshere areassholes about it, so we would have to turn it off once we got into the sticks. One time hegot pulled over because the lights were blue,and supposably he could be mistakened as an emergency vehicle. Before thecopgot to his window, he flipped the toggle switch and turned off the lights, the cop asked him how he did it, andjust gave him a warning.

if you are going to do anyof that just put the led ones on they will last a lot longer and look a lot better and they dont pop like neons

i jus bought a set called plasma glow and yeah i was a lil skeptical but they have a lifetime warranty on them and their LED w/ the whole mounting controller 2 change the lights and turn them off and all.its preety cool and i know some of you guys hate them but theres no point in having a fast car that looks boring as hell either if you know what i mean.got 2 spice it up a little but doesnt mean its a ricer by a long shot.anyways i plan on hokking it up soon and ill let yall know how everything goes and how it looks.on white tho pretty much any color looks okay on white so w/e u like the most or u can get a changing color set up and set it 2 w/e color u want wenever u want.

Each to his own my friend.... no need to bash, Personally light glow was horrible for me and so I went with street glow. Was totally not impressed. For the amount of money they are asking, it is no good at all. there is not enough wiring, and no switch even to turn it on or off!! If I were you I would go with VARAD - LED undercar kits and accents. much brighter and more reliable, and best deal is - you can choose from about 12 differnt colors all built into the same unit. I generally used white on my car, it's definatly the way to go if you have a white car and plus it's not insanly noticable like the red's or blue's. No it's not illegal in anyway, as long as when you look at the vehicle from a distance you can't see the bulbs (or if you get leds, the light source) You can have red, blue, white, any color you want thjat way. They only time you have to worry about certain colors is when the bulb or light source is exposed. In that case you can only have red, yellow or amber (orange for youmullet rockin'guys).

If anyone has anything to say about American cars with under body lights on them swing into Iowa, and notice mine, and keep staring and bitching about them to your girlfriend/cousin/sister in the passenger seat and leave your headlights off because those lights that piss you off aregoing to light the way for you to try and stay up with me.

Not wasting my time reading everyone bash this person for wanting to know where and what brands of neons to buy. SO I will just answer the question and let him be. To each his own.

Sound Quest makes a decent kit, 7 different colors they are LED's so they last longer and are brighter. It also has all the goofy patterns you can do, thats where I myself cross the line though. Constant on is ok, but the patterns are something I myself wouldn't do.

Sound Quest is made by Stinger Electronics if you are wondering, so yes they are quality and reliable. No where paticular I can think of where you can buy them, google it.

that would be becuse i can change my oil and my air filter and some other basicother stuff but i really dont wanna put a cam on myself and have my driveshaft come through the floor of my car....

thats what i have and they are brighter than neon plus i think they last longer and have no effect on my power so there just better all way around.and to 1985RS...im 16, im not buying someone a case of beer,and dont have any mechanic friends that live around me..not that im letting touch my car.i live in the suburbs of delaware, not in the country down south where i have 4 or 5 buddies and we just sit around and talk about cars.3/4's of the ppl around here dont even know what a cam is so for $200, im putting L.E.D.s on my car, not putting a cam on by myself wen i have no clue what im doing.thats just plain stupid and u act like its a simple task or something[sm=icon_rofl.gif]

hey, i like neon lights to it makes the car stand out, but since your car is white, its kinda hard just pick your favorite color and go with it...

try underglow o street glowboth are good companies, just make sure you install it to where you cant see the bulbs from and angle of your car, un less you get under neath it, otherwise you get a ticket for it....


and dont listen to them, its your ride you invest in it how you want, if you want a show car, put your money in audio and visuals, if you want a race car, put it in performance, as for me im doing a mix... bout to install my alpine amp and 2 1000 watt amps... so yea like i said its your ride and your money thats all that matters, is how you want your ride to look...

oh yea one last suggestion if your going underglow get one where you can control it with a remote instead of a nob, or pluging it in, cause then its just ghetto ****, make it clean to where you can control it from a distance even if you arent inside your car...
