check out the Northeast Rod Run thread. it only happens once a year, but it's a good reason to put somemiles on the car and meet some cool new people

Hi there.

We have an aftermarket shop located in Putnam, CT. I am posting to let you guys know that we would love to have a meet/show/get together here at our shop. We have a decent sized parking lot that can accomodate between 40-50 cars and would like to offer use of the lot/building/grill for whatever you guys want. If there is anyone out there in the area that would be interested in setting something up, please contact me @ elite.motoring@yahoo.com or 860.963.0888 I look forward to getting something together and seeing some of the cars you guys have created.

Putnam is located about

27 miles from worcester
28 miles from providence
49 miles from hartford
65 miles from boston

ss2263-- if you live right around the corner, lets get something going.

cbarber88-- its about 25 minutes NE of the charlie brown campground. I dont know when youre going camping, but lets try and get something set up for that weekend.

By the looks of it, we already have 3 people interested. Are there any other Camaro fans out there in CT that would be interested?

Just let us know what you wanna do, like we said before, our facility is yours for the taking(FREE of charge of course!!)

I'm in CT. I live in Hamden (right near New Haven) and attend SCSU. I have seen a few camaro's, on auto RS in the parkinglot just today, and 2 on my way down to classes (I commute, and the guy has 2 3rd gens in his driveway that are real nice). I don't own a camaro yet but am looking into either a 3.8l v6 or maybe a z28 (depending on insurance costs). Anyone have any insight (http://camaroforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41024#) on what I should lean towards or look at/for when searching for a car? Also, I know next to nothing about cars but would really like to learn. Thanks guys.

Right next to me! I am in Cheshire, about 10 mins north of Hamden. Are you a freshman at SCSU? I have a couple friends going there spring semester, I commute to CCSU up in New Britain. Insurance is a pain, when I priced out options for a mid 90's z28, the average costs were over $2500 a year for good coverage. I have a 02 v6 now. Gotta like it being a commuter student!
