okay is it possible to have different pics every time the website is refreshed?
like visit it once and you have a 1st gen SS, then visit it again and get a 4th gen Z28, and so on and so forth?

okay so heres the logo i thought would work well.

oh and this is the REAL camaro font so im gonna have to use another font that is close. just for illustrative purposes for now.
i also put in a pic of my car (since its really the only pic i have permission to use) to show the idea of having the webpage banner change to a new car every time you refresh.

musicman the first one you posted is bad ass, for the tshirt design i dont think it would make a difference if the years were there or not, and there is no such thing as a 2009 camaro, i did like the second banner design you did as well

Hey spec, my first entries are no good now, I had to reformat my hard drive due to a virus, and forgot to pull the high res files for those. Those are the biggest I've got.

Good news though, I just got a font pack with 2500 fonts, so I'm making another one.

yeah, we need a little more participation before we can set up an official download page. plus, we need tow ait for the update before we do that because who knows if it will carry over. this thread will survive along with the pics, so well just resume our competitions upon upgrading

I'll have to make it all over again, my laptop went down again a month or so ago, and I couldn't save the desktop files.

its roughly square. i uploaded ur one pic already, but it shrinks them so its very small due to its rectangular shape. just whip something up for it. uve already gotten an invite.

Will this work? Or should I make a few more changes? I think that the pic will be 150 pixels wide, this is 200, so it'll shrink a little bit.

maybe emphasize the camaro forums part. it shrinks so much you cant really see much, so small written details will be lost (like the years and dark parts)

This should be actual size. It's hard to work with something so little, is this better? I think it's kinda plain, but if I add much more, it gets cluttered.

Alright, then my submission still stands I guess. I'm working on re-doing it so you could have the photoshop file if I win. Then you could do whatever with it. The hard part is finding that font again. But I might change it.

Im not a big photo shop guy but i like the last one from musicman. Very plain and clean representing all generations with out discrimination.

Congrats on the update! I'll definatley be around more because of it. Here's my stab at an emblem, a member here might recognize one of the pictures, sorry but I couldn't find a satisfactory third gen pic from Google images :p

it can be anything. eventually we can group them together into banners, printable logos. I can make an entire section in the forums showcasing this, or we can put it in an album. lots of possibilities. just get to chopping!

I'm trying to make something new, but I'm having problems finding a font I like more than the one I picked. I'd like to make something more universal, without a reflection. (so it could be used as a vinyl decal, if wanted). I'm also trying to use as few colors as possible, so shirts could be made. My current submission looks nice I think, but I'm not 100% satisfied with it.

I just had an epiphany (sp?) Got a completely new idea that I'm working on now.

Still working on it. This is much better than my last submission in my opinion. I'm modifying it to show you what I mean. With this basic setup, it will be easy to make shirts, stickers, and decals. I'm putting it on a shirt to show this.

See what I mean? (this is the back of the shirt). You can limit it to 2 colors, which means cheap shirts.

I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the ".com", it looks out of place.

musicman that's nice, that font is nearly identical to the Camaro font, but you should connect the cross on the a, it's easy and then it would match almost perfectly.

.com could be centered underneath the whole thing?

i see what ur saying tho, it looks a little "thrown in there", but the overall is awesome.

or do this:
just the Camaro Forums the way it is.
and then put the whole www.camaroforums.com under it almost like an underline for the whole thing

Hmm, it looks better. I'm trying to use as few colors as possible, the red looks ok. What I don't understand is why it looks different when you transfer it to a jpeg. The C and F are inset further than what shows. I don't want to plague you guys with slow loading png's, so you'll just have to imagine what I'm talking about.

well, according to the OP i would just let staff decide which ones we wanted to keep on. its not a legitimate competition, and thus far the only "winning" we get is the satisfaction that people like ur work lol. that was mostly just a failsafe to justify rejecting anything that was complete crap. I WOULD be nice to see what other talent is out there too lol. but when i start to feel ambitious I will sticky the ones we have so far into an easily found download page. if you want to send me the better files I could always add them as attachments too
