Is there anyone who makes kits (yearone?) for cars like this? I'd really like to get a first generation camaro and build it from absolute scratch than buy and old car and find the parts for it. I heard there were kits but I'm not sure.

What is available is not really a kit. It is from Dynacorn. They can supply you with every body part needed to build a 69 Camaro coupe or convertible. You would need to get other parts (sub frame, interior and drivetrain) from different suppliers. Depending on where you license the car, you might need an original VIN plate though.

Is there any webpage or book that I can use to get started on this project? If not, does anyone know how I might go about getting started on building my own 67-69 Camaro?

I am looking to do exactly what you are talking about...I already have a 69 ss coupe which is already show quality. I was looking to build a 69 convertible from scratch.. I have looked into the dynacorn bodies and they seem to be the best choice for building a 1st gen. Camaro. The thing that you want to look into is the price. The body is just to get you started and depending on what parts you go with, it can get pretty pricey to say the least. If I find any helpful sites I'll be sure to post them up here..

I want to find out more about the procedure..Which parts need to be assembled first, second, etc. I do not want to mount parts up and then have to take them back off b/c something else needed to be put on first. If anyone can find something like that, it would be very benefical.

I would recommend that you purchase and read the Assembly Manual. It has pictures and exploded diagrams that show you must every part, nut, washer, and measurement.
