hey im new to the whole forum thing and i would like to know how to get my pictures on here if there is anyone that could help me with that that would be great

Do you have your pictures uploaded to - " My Documents " under " My pictures " ??

There are two ways that you will be able to do this ...........

#1 - You will have to upload your pictures to a http site and then link that site to your profile

#2 - You can simply upload your pictures from " My Pictures " from your computer to this forum and post your pictures of your camaro in the " Photo Gallery "

If you choose to take option #2 - let me know and I will tell you how to do that.

with #2 do the pics come up in you signiture?

Yes we can get that do for you, if that is what you wish to do.

It will take a couple more steps but yes we can do it.

What you need to do now is get your pictures uploaded into the "Photo Gallery"


Step 1
If you look at the top of the screen at the " AutoGeek " logo flashing at the top , right under neath the bottom left hand corner of that logo you see the word " Photo Gallery " - CLICK ON THAT

Step 2
When that page opens up - click on CF Member Gallery - once that opens up you will want to start a new photo album , click on add pictures

Step 3
When you see the next screen open up what you will see is four empty boxes and beside that you will see the word " browse" - click on that

Now what you will need to do is tell them where your pictures are located at on your computer , most likely it is in "My Pictures" on your computer.

So what you will be looking for is a command like this after you route the system to where the pictures are : C:\Documents and Settings\89/383stroker\My Documents\My Pictures\Camaro.jpg

Then what this will do if it works right is download your pictures into your gallery

We can then put some pictures into your signature for you but .....................


Try this out and see if this works , if you still have no luck with what I have told you , tell me what you are doing and if you get an error what it is saying and I will try to help you out more.

how do i get my pictures to the photo gallery.can someone move them for me.

nimrod_sixty9 you can upload your pictures from your computer to make your avatar , but you will not be able to link the forums to your signature.

You will have to link your picture to an http site in order to get your picture in your signature.

This is supposidly a free hosting site that will allow you to link your pictures to for your signature.
