yes i did, because i had a second and at the time i didnt see anyone else that i would nom. however, ROTM has a single "filter", if u will, each month. 4th gen is normally geared toward v8, but it really is up to you guys to keep track of when noms start. We are using basically the same rules as mustangforums.com, and their ROTM works wonderfully. It takes a certain level of maturity by everyone who participates, it doesnt matter who your friends are, it matters who should really be ROTM. Now, i actually happen to like the cars posted here....cept nic, ur a little out of ur league here bro :D, at least GRL has blk/blk, which everyone should know im all about [8D]. I also agree that masshole and zoilus would have been awesome in this competition. good thing that only 1 person can win and all but the winner can be renommed in the next 4th gen which will be in roughly 6 months probably. if this one happens to be a runaway, its safe to assume that person probably would have won either this or the next anyways, thats just statistics.
for next month, pretend you're playing poker, if someone puts out a name, see if you can match them with one equally "good" (quotes because i dont want anyone here thinking their car isnt....... at least it isnt an io..... elantra... i meant to say elantra!. [&:])

The rules we are working with are very new, so there will be some upsets at first, but that doesnt mean this cant be alot of fun.
These rules, however, require ALOT of member participation in the whole process in order for it to work. In the past ROTM kinda just happened, one of the guys recently didnt even know he won until a month later. Not that he didnt deserve it but thats crap! [8D]
ive seen it work on other boards before, if we get the involvement we need the nom thread will have alot of 1st noms ranging from "wtf?" to "F ya!". and when people come in for the 2nd round of noms we get a really solid group. once everyone gets used to the process its going to be a hell of a party in here. In the meantime, lets enjoy this as much as possible, even though some of you think no v6 can take out a v8, inmonths to come you may be upset, who knows whats going to happen. :D

Actually BadinfluenceRS took me out in votes within the last day of voting another ROTM, so a V6 can beat a V8...he still didn't win, but nonetheless.
Ill give my campaign one last kickstart. Just for all those 3800s out there that have accomplished so much. For the V6 engine that challenged V8 Mustang GTs for the first 4 years it was out, this is for you.
Got ceramic pads all around on top of them. Feels great on long road corses;)

So with out further a-do, I would like to offically annouce that my Camaro has a Gutted catalytic Converter. Yes, this is an accual 3800 series II with a gutted cat. They are very rare & powerful cars that are usaully only legends.
Its true HP cannot accually be measured as no dyno machine is built to handle that kind of power. But you heard it folks. This is a 3800 II with a Gutted cat!

^^^^ ur not getting it. nominations are designed so that everyone gets a say. there is no need for 2 polls. what there is a need for is involvement. there were 6 pages of nominations, and you posted only once and that was to nominate only 1 person while there were other v8 people that could have used a 2nd nom. get involved and nominate the people you really want to see early. if anyone is upset about the ballot you really have nobody to blame but yourself. a separate v6/v8 poll is just a bad idea

dont fight in ROTM. i wont lock this thread but ill start deleting ur posts. the system we use is very fair. it places responsibility on all of you to get the noms in you want. just be aware, first of the month the nominations go up.
i will agree that we had a little bit of "I nom the person above me!" syndrome going on. and there were some other people I would have liked to see in here, however that doesnt mean we dont have deserving cars. stig is especially deserving. he actually has some work done. i wish he would post up some more pics, but thats just me

Hey man I got some quick ones for ya! Sorry it took a while and the sun started to go down so not really good ones, but man they are wider and the tires are stupid sticky.
I'll get better ones soon but here they are, I think it matches the blacked out top of the car very very well. All my friends dig it more than I do haha.

?? You listed long tubes, a cut out and a tune, all things that will get you power, and then you listed ET Streets, which will get you off the line faster than street tires. On a 3inch true dual (no headers) and CAI car you cannot pull a 12 sec pass...

i have off road long tube hooker ceramic coated headers with a 3inch flowtech x pipe with cut outs and dual dynomax ultra flow race mufflers, drag radials, completely gutted interior, k&n cold air intake, i have the after market bilstein shocks not the stock ones, 24 lb fuel injectors, i have no cats and have removed the air conditioning unit, as well as having a complete MSD ignition with a timing advance
is that better jack ass ?

I'm really not a jackass, with just the mods you have listed in your sig you can't run those times, plain and simple. With the mods you listed along with the gutted interior I woun't argue with you, that sounds compeltely legit, especially if you have a more aggressive rear end than stock.

So I'm glad I got these new wide ass sticky tires. Came with two run in's with two completely different cars and walked both of them. First was a 06 Sti off a light, and after 2nd gear I walked him. Second was a new BMW 540 and that was not as fun as the Sti. He got smoked, but it is a different type of car.
It's been fun launching in 1st gear now with little spin in comparison. Now I'll watch my rear end break :/

Ya, I would go Moser 12 bolt, not 10. You can build the 10 bolts stronger with axels with more splines, and more reinforcement, but the sweet thing about a Ford 9" is you don't have to worry about setting up the gears, you just swap out the back of the differential and you're ready to go in an hour or less. Great for taking the car to the strip on weekends if it's your daily driver as well. (you have to keep gas concious:D)

I really hope mine lasts through this summer as well. But we all know there is no way to tell when a stock 10 bolt will go... it could be after 10 hard launches at the strip or when you put it in gear only going out of your driveway...
Considering I am into AutoX a bit more, getting a 9inch would not be a good idea, a 12 bolt may be better, and would work since I'm not heavily modded (bolt on car)
I'll have to figure it out when the time comes...
But I just dropped 2k on a full suspension set up that is just going to throw me around in my seat... I can't fuccing wait.

Yeah. I first needed more traction with the LS1 power and manual transmission in both cornering and acceleration. Also just went down a size to 18s. So I wanted a mix of street-ability and grip at the same time.

I've had the halo's for almost 2yrs now, and no problems I love em. HOWEVER, I have HID's, so when I turn on the parking lamps the halo's come on and look great, but when I turn on the lights, you can't see the halo's at all since the hid's are so bright. You can see them fine if you have regular bulbs in there though. But you have chrome rims, I would go with chrome if it was me.....just a thought. Thanks for the comments. I have put alot of effort into it and feel like the car is an extension of me. I can easily wait till next time. The cars up there are all nice and I had a very hard time voting. I'm glad the people here don't question why some cars got nom'd (by their fellow piers) as they do in other forums.
All the owners of these cars should feel proud, I'm not up there and I feel proud for them :) its all about the Fbodies baby!

That with 18 tint and a black sail panel, I'm going with the black look, and I think the chrome on the headlights looks a bit cheesy.
I don't have HID's either, but I also don't want to hook up the halo's.
