this is the only website that i visit that gives me trouble.i search the internet and visit 5-6 different forums and have no trouble.when i get on here,it takes forever reading post and going from one room to the other.should something be enabled or disabled.my computer has the phishing option and thought maybe that was slowing it down,tried disabling that didnt help.is there something in my security settings that needs to be changed.any help would be appreciated.i have dsl and like i said i have no problem with other forums,as soon as i click on other sites,bam its on there

i have the same problem, i think i actually posted basically the same thing once.... I havent found a cure for CFslowness, but it seems using firefox helps instead of using internet explorer.... just an idea... If you hear anything else, let me know

i think whoever the owner of th site is, needs to update the format file, i dunno, but the way this site runs, it acts like it's ~3-4 years old. without a update, i could be wrong but, it's only thing that makes sense to me

Slow computers FTL. Only one that is slow for me is my work laptop, but it's slow with everything except company pages...

so i guess everybody is having the same problem.my computer is so slow on this website it takes the fun out of reading the post.my dsl might be slow compared to cable or sat. but my computer aint,this is the only website i have a issue with

well i guess if everybody is having the same problem then that's good news.i just knew this new computer had just contracted a virus lol.i thought maybe i was having problems,i guess its a overload problem

Here is the trouble I have, maybe this will work for u:

when mine is going slow its almost as if the browser reaches in to the neatherreaches of the interweb and starts to pull the site in but it gets stuck on something. takes a long friggin time to load. However, it is intermittant which tells me its an error somewhere.

What I do is if I notice it getting snagged (snug?) I just hit refresh quick, and usually the page comes right up. If it gets caught after u post something, just bring up another browser window and continue surfing while the post wiggles its way through. Hope this helps

my page just takes a long time, like 30sec to load, all other sites, including myspace, is like 3sec.

Ya Ive never had this problem..... what computers are you using? Wireless of hardline?

Could just be one of the servers you pass through to get here. You could try pinging it to find out where the problem occurs but there is really nothing you can do about it.
