i know there have been some pretty sweeping changes going on in here but i thought id chum the waters with this.


what do you guys think about a ROTM marker of some sort for the winner each month.
This could be a small signature image denoting the winner, or we might be able to get a note under your name (instead of everybody's saying super member). no promises on that one, but a little picture is doable.

after all, ROTM is for you guys, so anything you think will make it a little more fun and rewarding to participate let me know.

Personally I liked the ROTM winner's car put op with the banners on the side. Maybe a little badge under your name like the "tech certified" or the "contributor" tag but it has the month/year that you won ROTM.

That is kinda what I was thinking. and hopefully i can get that current winner banner back up and working. I will probably have to talk to an admin about doing that... dont know if i can actually do that.

I think it would be cool to say "ROTM Winner March 08" for example under the name instead of "super member."

there used to be a thing on the side of EVERY page that had the ROTM winner with a pic of the car. i think that might come back when Hawk gets back

the settings for the banner are still probably around somewhere, just inactive. im going to try to get that up regardless, but that goes away after a month, a badge stays forever :D

I always intended on bringing back the banner if i could. the original intent of this thread was discussing if u guys would want a badge in addition to it.

all the other forums from http://www.autoforumuniverse.com/ (the master forum that is in charge of all the forums like civic, mustang, camaro, dodge) have the badge of the winner of ROTM on the side.

i just need to hear back from patrick about when i get my magic wand. as soon as that happens ill let u guys know what I will be able to do for u, or what we may need to coordinate with a higher authority (as if there is a higher authority than the pope of aubreyism [&:])

but im sure the big guys wouldnt mind enacting a couple things to make u guys happy.

We need more people to vote, im thinking maybe a mod can put up an announcement so that every section has the voting thread at the top.

u guys can advertise as well. bring in all ur off topic buddy's :D

there should also be a list, for if you win more than one(one a year, or if you own other cars for other categories)
and make it under the posts, score, joined, status stuff.
