i'm new here too, and i really want a camaro ( so i'm a wannabeya) but everyone gives me the eye like what are u thinking!? can someone tell me the pros and cons of a camaro. a lot of people say that the engine isnt as good and that its got low gas mileage. i'm obsessed with camaros and i just want to know more about them!!! thanks people.:eek:

As you can read about my current car situation in new member post, i want a camaro too. I think they are just awesome cars and there is so much that you can do with them. the v6 camaros are ok. but if you are going to get a camaro, definitely go with a z28 or an ss, both of which have a v8 engine. i prefer the ss because i like the air intake on the hood. ive always liked aggressive looking muscle cars and i think the 4th gen camaros are examples of modern muscle cars. unfortunately, gm stopped making camaros and firebirds. the last ones are early 2003 models, but you dont find many of those. you probably also hear the term f-body thrown around. camaros and firebirds are on the "f" platform chassis. ask me anything else you might want to know.

hey in kinda a noob at this stuff to but i really love a 69 camaro or a 87 or 8 montes carlos. But i have a 69 camaro down the street from me and the guy is sellin it for 7850 i dont know anything about it but its blue with white strips. i really want it but i dont know what to check for cuz its an old car and i dont want to get qyped thanx guys.
