ok here is a stupid question from an ASE certified parts specialist working at your local napa store!I have a 1995 z28 camaro, and it is equipped with a gm HD6 style compressor.now on that compressor there is a bearing in the pulley that has failed.I now have the replacement bearing.how do you remove the clutch hub.I have yet to find a tool for the hd6 compressor nor any comment on one on the internet.can you help?it appears to have an odd shaped retaining nut on it also.thanks.

Joe,
This is one of the jobs best left to a specialty shop.
Since I never had the ambition to pull these things apart. I can only quote from the Factory Service Manual.
You need a bunch of special tools:
J-33023-A Rotor And Bearing Puller Gude
J-33020 Puller
J-9398-A Bearing Remover
J-29886 Driver Handle
J-21352-A Support Block
J-9481-A Bearing Installer
J-33019-1 Bearing Staking Guide
J-33019-2 Bearing Staking Pin
J-8433-3 Screw
J-33023-A Puller Pilot
J-33026-2 Through Bolts
J-33017 Pulley Rotor and Bearing Installer
J-8433-1 Crossbar
J-33024 Clutch Coil Installer
Large Ball Peen Hammer
and last but not least, a rubber band
The procedure is about 3 pages long, with pictures and arrows
Might try Mitchell or All-Data & see if they have some better ideas.
