The Banks 08-08-2007, 07:08 PM I use Eagle One 20/20 Perfect Auto Glass Cleaner with the "No Hazing Formula"and a microfiber cloth. One guy in the automotive section at Target told me that the best thing for glass is soft water. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure that it would do a preatty good job. 350rs 08-08-2007, 09:33 PM in all reality, its not the glass cleaner thats gona make a big difference, i can get the same effect with water and a rag as i can with a cleaner. The "magic" is how YOU use it, If your streaking, use more cleaner, and whipe longer. 94Red 08-08-2007, 11:32 PM YEah ill agree with 350rs, ive used multiple glass cleaners, the best ive ever found was from Wal-Mart, i forgot the name, but its a white and blue metal spray can its a foam not a spray, it works freggin awesome, ill try to get the name for ya, this stuff is good, because it doesnt run , just stays where ya put it. 350rs 08-10-2007, 09:18 PM my dad likes a product called invisable glass. i think it does alright, but since i work at a car wash, i 'borrow" some of those cans of spray. lol bluovlh8er 08-11-2007, 01:18 PM wd40 ftw Skyrunner 08-11-2007, 02:19 PM The one that works the best for me is vinegar in water. I put 1:14 vinegar to water and put it in a spray bottle. Works great and very inexpensive. MichiganMan 08-13-2007, 05:06 AM use a wadded up page from your newspapper and windex or vinegar and water works incredably well no streaking . the key is the newspapper Hawk 08-13-2007, 08:52 AM ORIGINAL: MichiganMan use a wadded up page from your newspapper and windex or vinegar and water works incredably well no streaking . the key is the newspapper [sm=youreright.gif] z28pete 08-13-2007, 06:23 PM Don't know about the rest of you, but Windex and paper towels work fine for me. Also makes a good upholstery cleaner. MichiganMan 08-14-2007, 04:54 AM ORIGINAL: z28pete Don't know about the rest of you, but Windex and paper towels work fine for me. I still like vinegar and water. It's not 1:14 as I posted earlier, I use 1:4. I try to stay away from the expensive chemicals if I can. Tried diesal once - leaves an odor (JUST KIDDING) |
