Actually that pic is from my buddies place, I was so excited I snapped a few pics when we bought it cuz we had to wait a week to go get it and i just start posting here, but the kid i bought it from wanted $750-1,000for it and he was going to get the fender dent pulled out and the hood fixed (both were beyond repair) and I told him basically let me buy it for $550 as-is, this wayhe would actuallymake money, because you get that professionally painted thats 3 grand or more, plus getting those dents pulled out, only to sell it for $750? So he took the deal, he didn't care anyways his mom and dad helped him buy an Escalade

It is very disappointing that he hasn't posted over here ............ at all

I believe in the near future we may make some changes to the eligibility for those in the RTM ..... you have to be an established member in order to participate .... really not fair to those that are here all the time.

Really disappointing ... all these votes for him and not a simple thank you.

The more I think of this the more I want to make a change ........... maybe starting now ....

To be honest, I think he should be taken out of the running. He hasn't posted at all and when he was a new member, his only questions were "How can I get in the ROTM?". I understand for people that are established that only get on once in a while....but I think you should definitely be an established member and you HAVE to participate in the voting process. Getting nominated and taking off just isn't right.

Would like to hear a couple of more opinions on this please before I make a decision.

The Camaro Forum's ride of the month should be an active member of the camaro forums. I think we need to have a 50 vote minuim or if they have been a member for 50 days before they can be in ROTM. And they must be active recently. Mustang forums has somthing simaler and it works very well for them.

Im an active member of mustang forums, yes. They have alot of diversity with cars over there & most of the guys I know (S/S section) are really kewl and like to have fun.

About the re-runing the vote. we still have over a week to do it. I saw you close this thread down & Void the poll results. Then put up the new poll with the new choices. If you do it tonight you would have over a week to get all the votes in.

The ride of the month isent only about the car, its also about the member. The people that voted for blueZ voted for him thinking he was an active member who would still be here. It isent fair for him to able to leave & all those people who voted for him not get what they thought they voted for.

The active members vote/and nominate the car they like..the cars with the most noms get in. There isn't many new cars to be nominated..so to see one picked and then nothing is just wrong....and we're still tryin to figure out why 70 seems to be the max in votes.

CONCLUSION After discussion of the matter and given the time frame from when this post originally started till now , based on the account of the issue at hand I have decided to void this voting process and will thus have TWO voting process going on at once ... Next month I will have a 3rd Gen RTM along with the 2nd Gen RTM Those members that were in the included in RTM with the exception of BlueZ will be allowed to return along with one other 3rd Gen Member ( established member ) I will not lock this thread but I will strip the votes that have been placed thus allowing those that have voted to re-cast their vote next month again for those 3rd Gen. that have returned. My apologies for the inconvenience but in my opinion and that of others as well this is the correct process.
