Alright guys, i'm going nuts on the setup of my car, i'm putting six piston Wilwood SuperLite brake calipers 13inch rotors in the front and four piston Wilwood dynalite brake calipers in the back with a 13inch rotor. What do you guys think? A bit over the top? My objective is to kill the 04 Cobra's by reducing the weight of my car. I think my car weighs 3464, according to the driver side door and SLP birth certificate. I've installed

SLP Air Lid
K & N Air Filter
SLP Strut Tower Brace
Wilwood Braking Package (includes rotors, pads, calipers) reduction of about 65 pounds from the wheels

Any ideas on how i would do and what cheap mods i can do to increase horsepower on my car?

Not looking to do exhaust, headers, cam, heads yet...."i've got special needs which cost $$$$$$, so i'm looking for minor upgrades."

Thanks :)

Unfortunatly untill you start to make more power the Cobras are gonna be tough to beat. Some ideas for weight savings would be. Remove carpet and seperate the rubber sound dampner then reinstall just the carpet, should save you about 25lbs, jack and spare=45lbs, rear seat=20lbs. An undrive pulley will get you about a tenth and they are pretty cheap ($150 or so) you get a smooth bellows, port your TB, an exhuast cut out would show some good gains as well.

Cutting weight, especially brakes or wheels, are great mods, because less unsprung weight is always a benefit. Your car will not only handle better by reducing unsprung weight, but it will also aid in acceleration.

I would take the advice of the other guy and start by removing unecessary parts, like the spare tire/jack, rear seats, etc.
