No I am not a V6, you can tell it's a V8 if you watched my goofy video I posted earlier. Also take a look at the pics I posted... you can tell the engine bay shot has a LS1 under the hood ;)
The last owner decided to debadge the car, I don't know why. However, I just orders some stainless steel Z28 badges to replace what he took off. Should match the wheels and have an amazingly clean look to it. I can't wait, and will post pics when I get the badges on!

Ah nuts! JD totally kicked my ass, haha, oh well, here's the headers before I put them on the car. I'll try and get some under the hood pics, but they aren't pretty 'cause I can't wash the engine bay due to the opti-issue.

LOL, that's actually sidewayz6.0 on the camaera, he's a admin here, but not on much. That track was US41 in Indiana. I race there mostly but also at Byron, GLD and somtimes RT 66

It seems that this is going to be a good month for a run at RTM !!!!!!!!!! The voting is really close and I like that , no blow out !!! I think that this was a good decision from the members to do just a single generation rather then all the generations going at it.

to me just a stock looking car with wheels aint no show stopper,imo...his car has alot of different things done to it for the looks,have you ever seen one with those stripes?no...if you saw his pictures you would understand...maybe its just me,but his car has alot of thought into it,not just a clean stock one,like all the others nominated,minus some wheels...
i personally like different,not one of my cars look like another one,minus my gn,but even that car has a surprise in the trunk and under the hood...even my vette i had custom black leather with suede in the center along with a custom box and so on...i like the black on black look out of them all,and the blue is nice too,but compared to a custom one i personally think it sits alone..imo

i didnt have a car like that at your age,so your doing pretty good....i like a black on black car,as you know,so that is a style to me...but really zolious's car is really nice and stands out,imo...i said im sorry,i speak too fast sometimes...i really like "different" in cars,whether it be custom interior or stripes or paint,it takes skill to do it and not over do it...i may be wrong,but his car looked custom in the paint,stripes and front end....sorry if i offended you or bad,i like black on black and i like the blue with the wheels,but i think zolious car is different...and jd's car is pretty fast,so his is different,by looking at it,i would have never known...now i will shut up..

I think Zolious's car is an awsome show car..there is detail everywhere...and it is not over done..To be honest I don't know how his car was over looked.....As far as customizing a total car he would win in that department..the other cars have their own personality and all but he has a ton of little detail....As far as my nom went..It would have gone straight to JD cuz of the engine work and the fact that he races.I just thought he won before....I'm an engine guy and a racer...All go , no show , and don't tell. ...As for the rest, I voted for you all before so I gave my vote to a guy who hasn't gotten my vote before...

I did check out his pics and there is no doubt that it's a nice car. Those stripes were on the anniversary cars, but they are nice looking. I actually thought about them for mine, but since it's not an anniversary model I decided to put a Manta strip on instead, (btw mine is painted on, not a decal, I used semi gloss metallic silver). Speed and driveability have always been my main focus for my car so I have never been into custom stuff. I don't want anyone take this the wrong way, I am not trashing on anyone's ride here, I don't think anyone is, so lets keep things civil:D

ya, it would appear that my clean look with shiny wheels isn't quite cutting it, nor the nice parts under the hood, and people can't see my red brake calipers! Oh well, I suppose this is more of a show car type competition, and every part to my car has had some performance value(including the wheels because they're wider)...plus, people seem to favor the late 4th gen front end, which I just don't like as much, but people like me seem to be far and few between, oh well, all nice cars nonetheless.

It was great as long as it was off and standing still. All kinds of problems....the notorious opti, my syncros were shoot, clutch was burnt up and a ton of little things. I sold it and put all the money into my LS1. But I wish I still had it,then next year I could have started to fix it :(
