I just wanted to post a few pics of what you can accomplish with Mother's products. this was all done by hand with no help from any powertools (buffers or D.As). I did all of this last Saturday and Took 1st place in my division in a show on Sunday. don't mind the dust ina couple of them

I really think most other product lines are inferior to Mother's

Looks great. Did you use Mother's California Gold Claybar kit, because if you are you are getting better results than me.

after a complete wash and strip of old products (use Dawn to strip the old wax), I used Mother's clay to clean the surface then washed again. from there I used Mother's Cleaner PASTE Wax, followed by Mother's Liquid Glaze and finished off with Mother's California Gold PASTE.

you can really only get the depth from a good Carnuba paste. liquid will give you a nice shine but no durability or depth compared to the paste

Sounds great, I'll have to try that next weekend. Just another thing I was wondering how often you need to replace the claybar.

it lasts me a long time (read, at least a season). I also don't use it with wax on the car. I always strip off the wax first to make sure I get all the contaminants off the car so I have the smoothest base to work with. if you drop it though, throw it away immediately.

I'm surprised that they don't carry the regular waxes if they carry the other stuff. all the places near me carry it

you can find out more here too www.mothers.com (http://www.mothers.com)

That really works well. On Saturday I used dish soap to take off the wax and contaminants, then claybarred. I got alot of the fine scratches that have been bugging me out. After that I used Nu Finish Scratch Doctor in some places, and used the Nu Finish glaze wax polish thing all over.

I told my friend, that's the only way his mustang would ever go fast, being reflected on the side of my car...LOL!!!
