are these blackout covers or are these the actuall lenses? does anone have these?

thats what i thought but it only says blackout taillights. on the blackout covers it says blackout covers

yea, those are just covers, i have them on the taillights of my car. look good to me. but thats up to you to decide...

lol yeah my friend had a formula with them.. someone stole one of them.. just one. so then he was stuck with one that he couldnt do anything with..

Yeah their just covers, they look pretty nice though. I have them on my 94 camaro, thaier really easy to install , except for the front ones, i dont think they thought those through enough lol.

To reduce light output mainly. They look good, but you should take them off at night or not have them at all. Think of it as the euivalent of wearing sunglasses at night... you just don't do it.

I dont like the covers they look cheap in my opinion, if you spray them w/ something like VHT Nightshade or put a layer of tint over them they look better. Plus with that method you can control how dark the tint is.

I saw some pics of people that used VHT Nightshade on their ricers and it actually looks preatty cool. It tints it and you can still see the light well. If anyone finds some pics of that done on a 4th gen Camaro please post them up.
