the porsche would destroy a Z or SS without much of a problem. the power to weight ratio is way nicer than a camaro

depends what year porsche your talking about but as for stock..high speed i believe the porsche he would come out on top by about 10mph, ive never been in a stock camaro ss going above 175mph

the camaro would smoke the porsche in quarter mile hands down
camaro has more hp and tq but the porsche is tuned for autobahn driving wich is all high end

if you want to get a camaro to kick the porsches ass in all the above than just add some computer tuning and headers and you will be also winning in top speed

well if your talking brand new 04 ..but camaros were out after 02 so against the porsche it would have been different, the price and performance

this is the upgraded model of the 911 in an equal year

Year 1999
Make Porsche
Model 911 Carrera 4
MSRVP $83,066
Engine Size Flat-6, 3387 cc
Engine Mount Rear Mounted
Horsepower 293.0 bhp @ 6800 rpm

im sorry, but i seriously doubt that an LS1 puts out equal numbers to a porsche, unless heavily modded...

It all depends on the year and model. Some 911's are quite slow (they all however handle on rails). Their are also many Porsches that are flat out turds (the Boxster being one). Just because it is a Porche does not always mean it is fast, thats like saying ALL Vettes are fast.

I have 99 Porsche on my Lot............
Looks like a smashed frog....One of the biggest TURDS to hit my service dept......nothing special except for above average handling/suspension....anyone of my fbodies would blow its doors off......

And at the end of the day, a Camaro is still a Camaro, and a Porsche is still a Porsche. At the end of the day, the Porsche owner isn't going to care that he got smacked up in the 1/4 by a Camaro, because even if he owned the cheapest of new Porsches, he could've owned TWO 4th Generation Camaros.
