I have to remove the turbo 350 from my '67 for rebuild. Pulled the four crossmember mounting bolts and the two tail housing bolts but cannot remove the crossmember. Any experienced advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had to loosen the rear subframe connecting bolts and raise the body of the car just enough until I could slide the crossmember out at an angle. Kind of a pain in the ass but it worked. firebird69racer 03-11-2007, 01:10 AM I always have beat them out with a hammer 68berserk 03-11-2007, 12:18 PM firebird69racer....."beat them out with a hammer".........absolutly! the first time is always tough.....after a couple of removals....you can "tap" them out with a hammer. pick one side, and pound it toward the rear.
