I have a 67 also with the same torque thrust rims, I put on 17 X 8's with some 245/45ZR 17's on it. They work great and look great. Mine rub a little bit when I turn right on the bolt that connects the fender skirt to the fender on the passanger side, but I think that's cause something's f-ed up in my front end cuase it doesn't even come close on the other side. They should work for you, I'm not sure how much bigger than that you can get, but you probably can...

look at some of the other tire size posts. there has been many good, and right, tire size combos posted in there many times

In the back I had a mono leaf before i changed it now it is a multi leaf stock I could probably put 18x8 in the back with 245/45/18 and put 17x7 in front with 235/40/17 and it would look bad a$$ if i could ever get a pic to upload i would show you a pic

What size TTD's do you want are you wanting a old school 15" rim or do you want the new 16- 18's ? I have the 15/7's front and 15/8.5 rear on mine.

17 X 8's with some 255/45 in rear 17 x7 up front . (they are smaller then what I have in rear ? 215 or 225)(torque thrust 2)
no rub.
